I took out a loan with Capitec a few months ago. I since had issues every month with them either debiting my incorrect account or on the incorrect date. Before the loan was approved they called my office twice to confirm pay date. I went into the Blue Route branch and was assured by the manager that all my details are corrected and I would not have issues again. The very next month my incorrect account was once again debited. Today I get an sms from my bank showing my account has been debited for the loan but I have not even gotten paid yet!!! Now this money came from my overdraft which I guess I will have to pay the interest on. Every person I have spoken to at Capitec has assured me that all my issues has been sorted and well they seem to be liars in my eyes. Why cant such a simple issue be rectified is my question. Then to make matters worse, there arent lots of branches around so I have to drive out petrol each time I need to sort out the same issues on a monthly basis. WHAT KIND OF ESTABLISHMENT ARE YOU PEOPLE RUNNING!!! I would like a call from a manager and I want assurances that this will be rectified or i will take it to the Ombudsman for sure!
