Unwilling to assist with settlement amount

After enquiring about my personal loan settlement amount not only do I have to wait 14 working days to get a new quote the attitude of Natalie is one of those well you don't like it, then leave it. I have left ABSA more than 6 months ago (Due to bad service) and would love to just settle my loan account, once and for all. At the beginnig of the call it is stated to the caller that "ALL calls are recorder for security purposes" yet when I asked for the reference number of the call Natalie could not provide me with it as aparently these recorings are for their use only, not for the customer to refer back should it ever be needed, please tell me how is it possible that after receiving a quote for a settlement one cannot refer back to a recorded call to verify the amount given? Also it is stated in the terms and conditions read out to the customer that should the consultand give you the wrong settlement amount you will still be held liable for the actual amount outstanding, I don't mind this, however when dealing with a person like Natalie I have no confidence at all the she will indeed provide me with the correct amount, just because she can?
