Upon taking a loan with Capitec three years ago, i went through a bad patch in my finances and ended up in arreas, I decided this month that i wanted to settle them and the lady (Thulisile) who supposedly works for the lawyers (A VAN DER WALT ATTORNEYS) that my case is under stated that I owed them 60 k, I tried negotiating with her and said I can pay 40K but she refused, I asked if i can rather pay a monthly fee of R1000 until i get back on my feet and she flatley refused, No w my question is why would a company refuse installements from a client that is willing to pay them back. The answer is because they want to accumulate as much interest through me. I have to travel out of the country in a few moths and this becoming a hinderance. I want to start making payment and R1000 is what i can afford. Please help.
