Lack of Client service and contradicting rules

I hold a platinum cheque account. On short notice travelling my personal banker ordered a priority pass for me which is ready for collection, however I am unable to collect it as I am not in Pretoria during their operating hours at all, not even on the day that I fly. She informed me that my mother can receive it on my behalf if I have a letter verifying this fact. When I found client services they informed me that I would she would not be allowed to do this as the cards that require a pin needs to be received by authorised signatory.

However the priority pass does not need a pin and is not linked to account as this only gives access to the lounge at the airport. When I told her this fact, she only said they still don't allow it.

What is the use of banking with ABSA and paying for platinum account if they can't even give client service. I'd rather go to FNB or Investec that deliver all cards to your locations.
