I fell and had two very large back operations, and is worse off after the operations than before. I have a disability policy with Discovery Life. When I received my feedback, they used my Discovery credit card statements for which I never gave consent (NOT LEGAL) as well as got info from my previous employer, again without my consent or knowledge. They speak to their surgeons and put words in their mouth. I laid a complaint against the surgeon & told him I am going to take legal action, and I have HUNDREDS of emails proving everything I said is 100% true. Needless to say they based their report on the illegal and conf data from my credit card and the surgeon, so they nailed me as can be expected. They had me followed and of all the photos taken, they used the one that suits them. Their story is one sided and the lack of integrity in shocking. I am going to the Ombudsman with ALL my facts on paper, & investigate a criminal charge for gathering conf information about me with my knowkedge or consent. My broker has been excellent in trying to help. As they say: money is a great tool, but a terrible! They determine if I am in pain is the look on my face, I have it in writing!!!
