STANDARD BANK FROZEN MY ACCOUNT -NO WARNING!

I have had the worst time with Standard Bank lately!

I have had a number of serious issues that has taken up so much of my time trying to rectify.
I have been with Standard bank for the past 20year. (my whole banking life). My parents have been with Standard bank close to 40year!
Now all of a suddon, without any warning they send me an sms stating "YOUR ACCOUNT IS NO LONGER FICA COMPLIANT. PLEASE BRING YOUR PROOF OF RESIDENCE INTO ANY STANDARD BANK TO REACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT" -it doesnt explain which account, and it hasn't been addressed to me and it doesnt even explain what FICA means...
I use this acount on a dayly bases, I dont see why i have to bring in proof all of a suddon??!
I have not been able to access my creadit or my savings account since... I have such a busy career that I honestly have no time to go and stand in queque to sort this out. I honeslty think this is waste of my time!
I am currently in the process of applying for a home loan and I am seriously worried that this could effect my application!

I am seriously considering moving all my money over to Nedbank where i know I would get a far more profectional service.
