Pathetic Call Centre and Billing and Accounts

Hi,

I had a cheque account with an overdraft. I had trouble making payments and made arrangements to pay Standard Bank. All the money that I owed was paid in 2007/2008 and I received an affidavid (on your company letterhead with a stamp and the signature from the commissioner of oaths), from Standard Bank saying that the account is paid. About a month ago, I have been receiving calls from MBD lawyers requesting that I make payment for an outstanding balance of more than R8000!! I sent MBD the affidavid and they still keep harrassing me with messages and telephone calls- they referred me to a branch to sort it out. I went into the branch and they referred me to your call centre. I have spent more than 5 hours of my time and money trying to sort this out with your call centre but to no avail! I get told different stories by every person that Ive spoken to or I get my call dropped back into the queue because you incompentant staff dont know how to deal with my query. It is pathethic that I have to spend my time and money having to sort this out when Ive paid every single cent that was owed in 2007/2008 and I have proof from Standard Bank saying its paid!!!
