My vehicle was taken to SilverStar Autobody with over half a tank of gas (petrol). This is even available to the on their records. Seven (7) weeks later when I went to collect my vehicle - petrol had been taken out and it was almost empty.
I enquired what happened and was told that my car was tested extensive, however, their records indicated that it was only driven for 14km since the received the car. I ask the second in charge how a 14km trip would use more than half a gas tank, he said he'll investigate. I'm still waiting.
They were arrogant to offer me R200 to put petrol and they say that's the standard. I declined and one of the staff member took the vehicle in my presence to put in gas (assume R200.). Sad that if you take your car with full tank you will get less than a quarter considering the petrol price in SA at the moment.
