False reading on pump

On 2012-12-18 I put in fuel at BP service station - Northern Paarl Motors- Mainrd Paarl. I drive a 2012 GWM steed 5 Bakkie with a tank capacity of 70lt. When I stopped at the service station my tank was still a quarter full, thus having - 17lr of petrol in the tank. I asked the pump attendant to fill up the tank. After finishing he came to me and I paid for the petrol with a garage card. When he gave me the slip I noticed that according to him he put 72.28lt of petrol in the tank. I switched on the bakkie and found that the petrolguage however was only showing three quarters full. I querried the transaction asking how they manage to put 72.28lt in a 70lt tank which still had about 17lts in it. I even requested the owner to come to the premises, who he in turn pulled up his shoulders and said I must lay a charge with the police as there is nothing he can do. Unfortunetaly they by then already debited my card with the amount of R844-95. I drove from said service station, exactly 6km to another one and asked them to fill up the tank. They still managed to put 11.6lt on top of all that petrol after which the gauge showed full. Tank checked by agent = 70lt. reported to BP no feedback
