I Applied for financed goods via Nedbank @ Pinetown Build It Store. The loan was pre-approved and supporting documents submitted. However ;it took Nedbank 4 days of wasting my time not to mention my petrol. A three month bank statement was required, but Absa is only able to provide a 2 month statement on Cheque accounts. Nedbank accepted this but later said this was insufficient and now required one full month's statement. Same was submitted. I was later informed that this too was insufficient as the transactions did not match the available balance on the account??? and they were now querying activities on the account!!! This was too much; so I cancelled the deal!!!
My Absa Gold Cheque account is a squeaky clean account and I have had the account with Absa through many years. I am so disgusted with Nedbank!!! They obviously don't have a clue as to what they are doing.
There is definitely a reason why Nedbank was bordering on bankruptcy not so long ago. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!
