A Great Attitude and Willingness to Help

The Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) works in partnership with Milpark Business School and UNISA to offer insurance professionals industry related qualifications. Having completed a higher certificate with MBS, I was now applying to continue with the advanced programme which is administered by UNISA. What a shock I recieved when UNISA stated, point-blank, that they would not recognise my Milpark credits. I then called IISA and was referred to a Charmaine Koch who took my call promptly and with a cheerful attitude. She cut short what might have been a long story and was willing to state my case directly to UNISA on my behalf. The result: confirmation of my registration recieved from UNISA within the hour. Charmaine (and her sensible liaison with the UNISA bureaucracy) was professional and gave me a sense of hope from the moment she took my call. She is a huge asset to the Institute and to the training/education sector of our country as a whole. Thanks Charmaine!
