Nothing we can do, wait another 7 days

My STD bank cheq acc was overdrawn as debits were not paid after I got retrenched. The account was locked until I paid the R2000 amount. On the 23rd I submitted tax returns and SARS deposited R4989 which was due to me. On the 26 Aug I went to the Campus Square branch and Letitia called the accounts dept requesting that the account be unlocked as I had settled the R2000 amount. STD bank told me they will do a FAIS check before the funds are released after 7 days.
On Friday 06 Sept I went to Trade Route mall to ask why the money was still not available. Paul from the branch made calls until he spoke to Bongas Molala who told us there is nothing he can do as the request to unlock the account was never done and only after another 7 days will the funds be cleared. When I tried to explain to Bongas that I needed the money and its not my fault that their staff did not do their job he hung up. Paul called again and this time Bongas was rude and refused to give me his name shouting at me that he will not give me his name & surname. Paul called again and Candice Charles said I would get my money later in the day. Paul called me later to tell me that I need to wait 7 days AGAIN...
