This is really frustrating, when you go to std bank to request that your funds be released before the 32 days they charge you a fee, but when the tables have turned its another story. I put a notice last month for my funds to be released, the money was supposed to have been deposited into my account on the 9th of June and today is the 11th and still nothing. I went to the branch and was told there is delay. I don't care about no delay, it is not my problem that your systems fail you, I waited the 32 days and expect the money to be deposited in the 32 days.
This is not the first time I'm receiving bad service from Standard bank. I went to close my cheque account and asked the balance in that account to be deposited in my access account, no they didn't do what i requested, instead i was charged fees that I was not told about before hand and the process just took forever to be resolved, it took me going to the bank EVERYDAY for 5 days in a row (as if i don't have anything better to do). It is such service that made me change my bank. When this is EVENTUALLY sorted I am also closing this 32 days account and taking it elsewhere. This is unacceptable and I will not tolerate it.
