On Monday, the 02nd of September 2013, I CANCELLED my Short Term Insurance on my Home Loan. I provided Standard Bank with a letter & confirmation from SANTAM that my house is now insured with them as from the 01st of September 2013. I have proof that Standard Bank RECEIVED and READ the emails that was send to them.
However, when my bond payment was deducted from my account today, YOU DEDUCTED THE INSURANCE AS WELL.
If this matter is not resolved by Monday, the 09th of September 2013, you leave me no other choice but to contact the banking ombudsman.
IT IS UNACCEPTABLE THAT I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING FROM MY SIDE TO ENSURE THAT THE INSURANCE IS CANCELLED, YET I AM STILL PENALISED AND THE MONEY IS DEDUCTED.
I am NOT happy with Standard Bank! You need to seriously jack up your service.
