I am posting this on behalf of my employee Andries. Who was working for me in Kenya
He has a funeral policy with momentum which he has paid for several years. This was paid by stop order from his account at standard bank. He changed his account from savings to current mid April and had all his stop orders moved to new account. I have the documentation to prove this.
All his stop orders went through except metropolitans who continued to draw on old account. SB insist the fault is metros who also made no effort to tell Andries they were not receiving premiums. The 1st he knew of the problem was 5th June when lizo Moyo called him to tell him his policy had lapsed and before they would require him to pay and go for HIV test before they will consider to reinstate his policy.
So if Andries has picked up HIV in the last 7years metro will refuse him cover and say thanks very much for the free money. Nice way for metro to get rid of HIV policy holders.
The mistake is theirs and they should reinstate him unconditionally. Also tell lizo the lapser to stop harassing him to go for test.
