Standard Bank should teach their staff about products on offer. Went for Bond re-advance, but nobody knew how to go about doing it. All I was getting was questions like they cannot help me cos my wife is not there. She must be present, they need to verify her, she needs to sign. I was thrown from one old lady (who was equally useless), she referred me to a guy called Neville who also just called Standard Bank Home Loans Call Centre and gave me a phone to talk to them, after seconds he decided to abandon me while I was on the phone, I suppose he was going fr lunch. I was left there all by myself and a guy on the phone help me. Application was processed telephonically. Basically I should have called from my office, saved some time & fuel instead of going to a Branch, because service at that Branch is just Nonsense. Nonsense is better, in fact service there is NIL, ZERO, it doesnt exist at all. Which makes one wonder why some people are still employed if they cant service clients?
