Since the begining of December we have made application for a further Bond to Standard Bank Home Loans.
There has been great incompetence on the part of the Kloof Branch and the Home Loan department.
we were declined twice and when we enquired with team leaders, Amanda Reekie and Eden Fynn, we were told that the application was captured incorrectly not taking into account the correct income & expenditure,
we were assured that if this is corrected we do qualify for the Bond of R570 000 in fact they sent an email stating we qualify for R700 000. However, we called in again and get told we are declined and we cannot use the said Surety which we were told we could. Then i get another sms stating my application is in process and when i called they requested the payslip of the surety.
so now i am confused with this poor service and communication as we dont know where we stand with Standard Bank, my wife and i are considering moving our personal, Business and Bond account somewhere else should we not receive a favourable response from Standard Bank
