I went into branch to open a NB account in FEb. I ended up getting 9 accounts. when we managed to close the 8 duplicates I opened a Crd card and again ended up with 2 duplicate cards. i was told the one will be closed. I ended up being billed for both accounts admin fees and queried them. again been told the extra one will be closed as they can see its a duplicate. I decided to go in to branch and pay my creditcard settlement up (the only card I had) and close the account as I was upset with all the duplicates and ongoing calls from Nedbank, considering in the same breath I receive certificate letters stating what a great customer I am as I do have other accounts with Nedbank. I was assisted by Nbstaff got the settlement and went next door to std bank and immediately eft the given amount to settle the acc only to be told afew weeks later I still owe money to both accounts, even though clearly there is no transactions on the one and the other was paid a sucnificant amount to be closed. i went into branch 3 times since to be assisted and after many promises still no reply from the Branch Manager Brigette whom i seen and still only receive threat calls for a odd R40 per month.
