I sold my vehicle four months ago. I phoned Innovation Group to request that the "top up" insurance I had on my now non-existent vehicle finance be cancelled.
First customer service could not even find my policy. I had to go to my bank and request a print out of the debit order information. When they finally found my policy (three calls and three different customer service representatives later!) they assured me the policy would be cancelled immediately and I haven't thought about it since. I happened to draw a statement today only to see a debit order for this "cancelled" policy went off my account. I checked back to previous bank statements and there are two debits orders there that were taken off after I had already cancelled as well.
Unbelievably bad business service! How many times do I need to phone and go through all that hassle to get it done right? And do I get refunded for monies paid on an insurance I shouldn't even be paying for on a car I haven't owned in months!?
