I'm in the market for a new phone and I see all of FNB's amazing special offers, but they are all for new customers. I find this absolutely ridiculous! I can get the phone, but i have to buy the data and minutes separately - something new customers get for free! So essentially my 20 years of loyalty to FNB is supplementing brand new customers.
I'm a platinum customer and do all my banking through them, including my mortgage. However, I am obviously less important to FNB then getting some new customer from Absa or Standard.
Treating existing clients like this is going to push me over to an institution who actually appreciates my loyalty.
