I completed the on line quote for car and household insurance. Immediately someone from outsurance phoned me back in order to take the quote further and ask all relevant questions. In the end it resulted in my current insurance premium being lower (R 723 at Santam) versus Outsurance quote being R 813. I then declined the offer and asked the consultant what about the R 400 cash back that Outsurance will provide you if they can't beat your current insurance premium - and he said he knows nothing about it and put the phone down. On Jacaranda radio station etc I hear the ad every morning, however it seems to be a otherwise Outsurance would have paid me. So please stop running the ad and I will make sure this message is carried over via word of mouth.
