FNB - waste of time

I have a business account and credit card with FNB. For the past 4 months I have been trying to use my business credit card to purchase BA tickets online. Appears that my credit card is not verified and the incompetent FNB call centre (011 352 5211) cant figure out how to solve the problem.

For example the incompetent card department mentioned that the card is verified and put me through to (0875759444) Matt. I spent considerable amount of time with him and he said it was not verified and will speak to the card department and get back to me. I guess after waiting for an hour he wont call me back and was wishful thinking my side.

I have spent hours trying to resolve this with FNB but have come to the realisation that they are just plain incompetent and I am wasting my time and money calling them.

In addition, their staff dont seem to understand their own business and either transfer you to the incorrect departments or simply put the phone down on you.

I have never come accross a business with such a dismissive attitude towards their customers.

Never had this problem with Standard Bank and seriously thinking about running back to them for dear life!
