Activated account without my knowledge

I meet Lauren a couple of weeks ago so she can look into my finances and to show me what policies I can take up to help me save and accumulate more wealth. I told her I would like to look at everything she has offered me than will decide if I want to take them up on not. She made me sign even after I told her I will come to her office to sign everything after I've made a decision. Last week Thursday I got a call to congratulate me for taking up a policy with Liberty Life, I told the lady I didn't take up anything and immediately smsed Lauren to find out what was happening. She didn't reply, I smsed her again on Monday and she told me she had assumed that I wanted the policy activated and that she couldn't reply coz she was on leave. I find it unacceptable that now I'm caught in all of this, having to run around to cancel policies that I didn't agree to in the 1st place. How am I supposed to trust her with my finances if she decides to take decisions that only suit her. I don't know which policy is activated or how much it costs. I told her to cancel it coz I didn't budget for it this month.
