FNB continuously charges me a ridiculous amount of bank charges, when i queried it, a couple months ago i was told it was monthly account charges, i asked for an explanation for all the other charges, i am still waiting for said explanation. all that appears in my statement are the following debits " #MONTHLY O/D FEE #SERVICE FEES#VALUE ADDED SERV FEES #MONTHLY ACCOUNT FEE INT ON DEBIT BALANCE" totalling to over R300. Big banks like FNB think they can take advantage of young professionals by getting them into so much debt as students and young corporate players, that by the time they make it big they cant get out of the tight grip FNB has around its neck. It's time we work towards getting out of any credit cards, car finance and mortgages one has or plans to have with FNB and moving to a reasonable bank and teaching our fellow educated peers to do the same and most importantly the companies we work for.
