Good day,

I went into the Standard Bank Brakpan Branch on Saturday - 24th of August 2013 to apply for a Personal Loan.
The consultant that assisted me (I am not sure amount the lady's name) informed me that they need to do an employment confirmation first before the loan will be approved.

Up until this day - 3 days later I have had no response from the branch.

Because there is NO direct line to contact the branch I have been using the branch customer care number - Which is : 0860 101 1341 to ask assistance.

Since Monday I have been calling just to ask If my loan has been approved or not.
Branch customer care kept on phoning the Brakpan branch and each time there was no answer.

Each consultant I spoke to asked me if they could send an e-mail to the Brakpan branch to ask them to contact me. Which they did... But then the Liberty branch contacted me twice - Not the Brakpan Branch!!!

I am highly upset and disappointed in Standard Bank as all I need is an answer.
How difficult can it be do do an employment check? I have provided them with all my details.

Normally loans takes 24 hours to be approved or to be responded to.

Please provide feedback ASAP!
