I applied for registration as a Professional Tax Specialist through SAIPA's website during June 2013. According to their website, all applications will be followed up within 72 hours. I made payment and sent through the required documentation on 27 June 2013.
I have not yet received ANY correspondence in this regard from them - I have phoned multiple times and each time the person handling it is either not available and will call back, but don't, or they just say there is a backlog, without even confirming that they have received my documents and payment. I feel two months is MORE than enough time, especially since they indicated it will only take 72 hours
