I have a business trust account with ABSA since 1998. My FICA documentation for this account has been destroyed in a fire in their warehouse. To complicate matters, we are in the process of changing Trustees and Beneficiaries. The majority of them being the same however. Since January this account has been in lock-down mode for about ten to twelve times. There is a back log as well as an attitude of non urgency at the offices of the Master of the High Court to make these
changes. In the meantime I can do nothing with my money in this account as all transactions are blocked, mexcept transactions where they debit my account for their banking charges! This is ther loyalty you get from ABSA after 15 yerars!!!
