I recently got a loan with Bruma Finance. On my salary slip it shows that my salary payment date is 25th of each month. This is officially what the company says but this is not always the case. Last month I got paid on the 27th but the loan went off my account on the 25th.By chance I had money in my account. I received my statement for this month and now the debit order date is 23rd. Firstly how does it make sense to take the debit order prior to the pay day. Even if it falls on a Sunday I will not get paid on the 23rd. I called Bruma Finance and explained that though the companies official date of salary is 25th I have worked at this institution for 8 years now and I know this is not the case. I can be paid any time from the 25th to the 30th so I asked if they could adjust the debit order date to the 30th. Today I get another statement showing debit order of 23rd. I can guarantee you I will not have the money in my account as my director is also overseas. Now I will get penalised with bank charges for the debit order not going through. I will pay my loan obligation all I am asking is for the date to be extended to the 30th of each month.
