Cold calling is annoying

For the past week I received a cold call on almost a daily basis from Standard Bank, where they try to sell me services I do not want or need. IMO cold calling is an outdated marketing strategy that might have worked well in the 60's, but is really only annoying in these modern days.

When I opened my account with them, there was an option "Do not contact me about future products or services.". This was marked clearly to avoid any confusion.

Just thought I'd vent on Hello Peter about how annoying their cold calling is becoming when I explicitly asked them numerous times to remove me from their calling list, and how they just bluntly ignore the customer's request.
