In December we had a bad rain storm, we had quite a few roof leaks and we want to get them fixed. We phone SA Home loans insurance to get that done... after back and forth conversation SA Home loans told us that they could not fix the roof tiles and that we as owners of the house is responseble for the fixing of leaking roof tiles, they also said that if we get the roof done they will fix the sealings in the house. We use our December bonus to fix the roof that cost us R14847.19 that is a lot of money. The 4 January 2013 Nicole Brijlal from SAHL Insurance Claims Fulfillment Consultant phoned us to let us know, we have to fax the invoice of the work done... and we did. Since then we are still waiting for them to respond, now they are worried about part of the house that was not discussed in the original agreement, We want the living room, the house entrance (front door) and kitchen sealing repaired, now they have a lot of stories about why it is not possible to do that. They also assign a consultant to a claim, but we could never get hold of Nicole, and we have to speak to a different consultant every time and tell the story from beginning to the end.
