Went with my friend to withdraw a large sum of money at Standard bank, Randurg. Teller gave me cash and a we left the bank and went back to work. I was followed from the bank to my place of work (which is about 4 km from each other). I entered work and entered the staff parking and as I switch the car off three men approach us with firearms and rob my friend and I for everything. (Cash, phones, wallets, watches and car keys). Video footage from work revealed that it was in fact three cars that followed us. This happened minutes after leaving the bank.
How did they know how much money I had on me to take a risk like that?
Was it a standard bank employee that tipped them off?
What is standard bank going to do about this?
If it was an employee they have access to my personal information?
Am I safe?
