I will tell everyone NOT to insure with Miway, especially if you live outside the city centres. I've insured my brand new Chev Sonic and paid all my premiums, everything went well till I had a small excident!
Must say the submission of the claim (only back window and small dent) went very quickly, but then they told me to take my car to Cape Town a mere 150km from my home to get fixed. I told Miway they NEVER told me they could not help people outside city centres and I need my car fixed locally.
They offered to pay out their quote on my damage which is nearly R2000 less than a quote that I've got locally.
I refused.
That was nearly 2 weeks ago. I keep on phoning and left messages and emails and no one comes back to me. If you phone the call centre the senior people are always busy!
Its going now for the 3rd and there is still NO progress.
Please think again before insure with MIWAY, they only make promises, take your money and cause you a lot of problems and unhappiness!!
