I was informed, by a financial advisor, that he has info from a Liberty Life consultant about a wonderful income protection product for my wife, that provides a maternity benefit equal to four months of maternity leave. It sounded to good to be true, but after confirming with the Liberty Life consultant 2/3 times, we took out the policy. After payments equal to about R1600, we were informed by a friend that this policy does not exist. We did research and found that it indeed does not. We have asked for our money back via the fin advisor, but Liberty have not paid anything out. The also did not complete the stop order made last year and I paid for the thing again in January. RIDICULOUS and!
