Access to my own money

Good day

I recencently settled my cheque account with standard bank and money was transferee into the account.
No one tells me that I won't have access to it and now I have to find out that I have to wait for my own money do you think they will give me interest like I had to pay no they won't. I need this sorted out and I want my money today standard bank is the worst bank to be with there charges are ridiculous anyway.
