I have been a client of absa for more than 6 years, I went into the branch at parow centre, i was advice to speak to someone from enquiries, cindy buys (very polite n helpful) helped me as far as she could and I could clearly understand the problem I had was out of her hands, she made a call to the dept that deals with clients requesting 'grace periods', now I've never had problems with any institute owing them money n not paying, i have a excellent credit record, I am utterly disappointed in absa not willing to help a client for only 4 months especially after I made the consultant on the phone, aware of y i need a 'grace period'. I'm sure ive given absa well over ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND RAND. Due to the lack of willingness to help me, I will definitely find another bank, my fiance banks with absa aswell, i will persuade her to stop banking at absa, and next year when myself and my fiance decide on buying a house, we will definitely not be seeking any help from absa
