A Total mess

Good morning,

I hope you van somehow help me or advice me please. It is a complicated situation but will try and explain it in detail. I was an Absa bank customer for nearly 20 years. In 1999 my grandparents signed surety for me of R16000 for a revolving loan with Absa bank. The loan was approved and I used the money and also paid back everything. My grandfather passed away in March 2002. After my divorce in 2006 I closed all my Absa accounts (all accounts were paid in full and no amounts were outstanding) and opened up a new savings account with them later that same year. This account I had no problems with. In December 2011 an amount of R7000 was withdrawn from my account which had no funds in it and also I had no overdraft facility. My Gran then passed away Later in December 2011. To my shock we have received a lawyers letter a few weeks ago stating that my Granmothers estate cant be finalised as its awaiting the payment of the outstanding amount of R10528.17 on the account that was opened in 2006 which she now is responsible for. Please can you assist me with the following please as I just don't seem to get anywhere with the bank or the lawyers.
