I have lease cars from Webank for 13 odd years
In July a debit was rejected due to insufficient funds
I was unaware of this and a few days later I was phoned to tell me this fact
I was told that the debit would be put through in 2 days but I would not be charges extra because it was the 1st time it had happened
Lo and behold when the debit went through the was a charge of r 268.65 (Debt Collection Fee)
I tried several time to make contact by phone eventually gave up and sent an email
I received a call in response to my email and was told over and over again read the terms and conditions
I tried to tell the lady that this was the 1st time it had happened and that I was told that I would not be charges AGAIN I was told read the conditions
I find this attitude unbelievable especially in view of their advertising "how can we help you"
This is not about the money but the principal involved
