Billing Error No Solution After Multiple Attempts

On 10/05/2013 at Total Atlas Road I purchased fuel to the amount of 615.18, on my Nedbank Visa Card.

R615.18 was debited three times, and then, on 17/05/2013, reversed twice.

At the end of the month, my automatic payment order (for the FULL OUTSTANDING BALANCE) ran, yet the account showed a debit of R1230.36. Which is exactly the amount (R 615.18 x 2) that was reversed.

Subsequently, every end of month when automatic payment order runs, this R1230.36 is rolled over.
I reported the matter to the call centre, speaking to Lindie, who escalated to Thuli, and finally, to Supervisor Vanessa.

1) This amount is not on budget, acknowledged by the call centre (and if it were on budget, it would be paid down - the amount is not being paid down).
2) FINANCE CHARGES raised on this error.

The call centre was unhelpful - Vanessa's solution being to email me a statement - which I was looking at. Took matter to my branch manager (Rosebank) who acknowledged error but refused to deal with card division.

The error is obvious.

Solution is simple: clear the R1230.36, & credit with the finance charges.

& if indeed calls recorded, just LISTEN to the ignorance, illogic and attitude of staff.
