As we all try to do, save for our children's future - I attempted doing this for our daughter just over a year ago and was shocked when I received a statement and found out that the admin fees is 20.98%%%%% ... So I've paid in over R6500 and the value is only R5190.64... I am truly appalled and disgusted that I even decided on Old Mutual to start an education plan with my daughter. I would have earned some interest if I left the money in the bank.
Worst mistake ever - thankfully, I don't invest anything else within Old Mutual.
Definitely cancelling this policy - taking a massive knock and rather putting my money in the bank...
