First National Bank
Tricked into moving to FNB with false information

I inquired about the benefits of a 'platinum graduate account'. I was told that I'd be assigned a private banker. Impressed, I asked "so I'll be able to call one person whenever I have a banking question or request? " Vanessa confirmed this to be true.
After my bank card was initially delivered to Keimos (in the wrong province!) instead of the branch I requested AND after the online banking system being unusable for two weeks (and counting) I went to collect by credit card. In the branch I asked the teller which number I should call to be assigned my personal banker. She called around and told me that I need to earn at least R650 000 per year to be eligible for this service. She gave me a number to call that had a network of personal (ie that I'd probably get a different person each time).
I emailed Vanessa straight away to express my disappointment and she neither denied nor addressed my problem. She gave me a number to call to inquire about the platinum check account.
Being the main reason why I joined the bank (being tired of always being transferred to different personnel!) I now regret joining FNB and would not recommend it to anyone.
