Unable to pay homeloan from ABSA account

I tried to pay an FNB homeloan account from my ABSA account, I phoned FNB helpline and after 4 attempts with different personnel I could create the beneficiary on my ABSA account but as soon as I make the payment it states that either the account does not exist or account number wrong, I tried the different account numbers and branch code numbers but still unsuccessful. Yesterday we received a phone call that the payment is overdue but I treid from last week 31st of July to try and pay over the internet, all my other internet payments from same account to different entities were no problem.
