I have had an on going saga with African Bank regarding my Furniture City Account. I picked up that they had not deducted a payment on my statement. With various mails to them, I finally managed to get an age analysis on my account. Two payments were not reflected. Even with all my mails requested an updated, corrected statement, to date, i still have not received anything. This has been on going from May. The customer service is poor and accounts pathetic. I have even taken it as far as sending a mail to the Consumer Advocate and have not even received a reply from them. Because the account is not in my name, they will not give me any details even though i am paying it - surely with a payment comes a receipt regardless???
