On Saturday the 20th April while I was at work at 4.45, Standard Bank phone me to ask if I had just made purchases in Diepsloot at Jetmart. I am in Randburg and still had my credit card, so this was not me. On 22nd April 2013 I went into Standard Bank Randburg, and discovered R6500 worth of straight purchases were made on my account and R5, 000 of budget were made at Pep Stores, Jetmart, Edgars, Shoprite etc in Diepsloot - a black township, I would never visit because of the crime etc. I subsequently have signed two Affidavits at the Police Station, but every week since then have spent 3 hours at Standard Bank Randburg with their Consultants, writing e.mails, sending sms, ranting etc and cut up my original credit card, when the 2nd one arrived, because of further (despite it being a new Credit Card number), cut that one up too and eventually cut up a third Credit Card. Department promised me a TAT of 3 days - this was on the 16th July - the day I cut up the third Card at the Bank. That same day a further R2500 went through at Edgars Diepsloot. I again wrote a letter at the Bank to their Dept - no reply. Am still awaiting refund of Frau
