Poor service

Like other similar reports, I resigned from my job in April 2013 and the documentation for my claim payout was submitted on the 23rd of April. I received an sms confirming receipt of the documentation but no further correspondence has ever been received from old mutual. I have spent hours on the phone to the call centre and all i am told is to call back the next week and of course sometimes you can hold for an hour before you get through. The latest is they are waiting for SARS.

It would be appreciated if my money could be paid to me, and a corporate like old mutual show have better service considering they are in trusted to manage peoples assets. At least regular progress updates.

lets hope the interest calculations are done to the date of payment.
