Student Loan chaos

My son required a modest loan to finalise his study fees this year. He is completing his BSC degree and will one day be the kind of client a bank like FNB may actually be interested in doing business with but what do I know. The loan was applied for on the 7th of July and some documents were emailed on the 9th of july 2013. No one from the bank called or contacted us and my son then went to the branch on the 25th of july and was told additional documents were required which I sent. To date no one has bothered contacting me, is this because the loan is to small OR because FNB does not actually want to do business with my son and I.

So the long and the short is this, either the funds are available to be utilised by Wednesday morning OR FNB courier to me at their cost all the documents they have in their possession pertaining to this loan. 3 weeks and counting for a modest loan and still no word from them is dismal, absolutely dismal.
