You will carry the cost

On the CNR of Presedent steyn and Bakenkloof street there is an ATM.I tried to withdraw some cash there to pay for petrol on my way to the hospital were my new born is in ICU. While atempting to withdraw a R1000.00 the ATM switched off i recived an sms the i recived my monay but i did not even get my bank card back. I phoned the call center asap to find out what i must do. The call center said i must go to the nearist branch to get a new card and reverce the transaction. At the bank (PTA North Brance) i was told that i need to carry the cost of a new card. (i dont understand way?) they also informed me that the proces can take a couple of days up to 3 weeks? to get the R1000.00 back as they need to send sombody to go and check the ATM and do a count. I asked what els can we do i need to get to the hospital? There words to me ''We cant do anything we have to follow the prosses''. Peter i wish i can follow the prosses with my newborn as well step 1 go to hospital step 2 give birth step 3 go home with your new baby. Way is there no one on standby for emergancys? why cant i go with someone and open the ATM get my money and card. Why must i PAY and WAIT? What about my debit orders?
