Hi, On 1st Feb 2014 at 12:40 PM, I went to Standard bank ATM Hatfield and wanted to withdraw using HDFC debit card but before I went to ATM there was African standing there and when he left the ATM he left his slip. I then called him to come and collect his slip.when he came back he stands near to me. I then put my card and pin number and I suspect he over-shouldered me and the ATM said enter voucher number. I had never seen ATM asking voucher number. I then press cancel but the card didnot comeout. I immediately called standard bank and told them that my card is inside the ATM they say its safe and can be collected from branch on Monday as bank was closed. On the same day at about 1:45 when I came at my place I then check my balance if there was any money which was taken out. To my surprise I found out that all my money was takenout. The amount was 47723.11 INR.Was there no daily limit by the bank? Why was the security questions not asked when there were 4 back to back ATM transactions as per my account details to withdraw cash of 47723.11 INR.Can Standard bank check the ATM log to find out the person who did transaction before me? I suspect he put something in ATM to stuck my card in it
