I applied for an account to be added onto my current banking profile of which I have a Current account and Credit Card. I did the application telephonically and it was approved. I was told to take my proof of residence and ID to my branch for collection of the card. Having sat in the queue from 9am on Saturday 27 July to 1230pm one of the staff members told be to go back and get a letter of confirmation of employment. I explained to him what i was told by the agent on the phone and he told me that they don't operate the same way as the telephone agents. This man has dreadlocks, I did not manage to get his name. Then when i got to Florah who is the lady who assisted me, i gave her my passport and proof of residence and she made me sign all the paperwork. i also did the thumb print verifications and was ready for me to receive my card when she was called by the guy with dreadlocks who then told her not to serve me. I honestly do not have the time to waste in the Tembisa FNB branch as they are slow in serving customers and the paperwork they want is with them already. Don't they keep documents?
