I was in an accident on 26/05/2013 in Bloemfontein while driving to Pretoria where I work and stay. Miway towed my car to a Panelbeater in Bloemfontein and on 27/05/2013 I got a courtesy car which I used to drive back to Pretoria. MiWay took more than 3weeks to finalize my claim and confirm with the Panelbeaters that they can start fixing my car. After 30days they demanded i return the car as per our contract. I then told them that they were the ones who took long to finalize the claim and I have no other means of transport. After refusing to extend it i demanded to speak to a manager who also confirmed that they cant extend it. After a few days the manager called to extend for 9days. No follow ups were made to the Panelbeaters, I was the one who was calling them to check on the car and was told that they ordered the parts for my car and will be received on 15/07/2013. Until to date, my car is still at the Panelbeaters and Miway demanded i return the car after the 9days (11/07/2013). I am now struggling commuting to work as I dont have transport and we are working overtime so i rely on lifts&public transport yet im paying for a courtesy car everymonth.
