I would like to make people aware of the exceptionally poor service and false promises Essential Med make to there clients. I have been on this medical scheme for 6 months now. Not one month has gone by where we have received the "approved" chronic medication as promised. You call there head office, but all you get is happy voices and promise after promise after promise. There new 1 Doctor Network is shocking incl the actual doctors where you just sit and wait like a government hospital. There is now Zero benefits between being on there plan vs. going the government route. The staff are incompetent at Head Office and put you through from person to person, however never get to the bottom of "why". They are good at telling you they agree with what you say, but cannot rectify the problem. Its now been22 days without Chronic meds, good thing I am just a asthma sufferer, and not something more serious otherwise they might have a few Deaths on there hands...
Not only will I be giving notice to change medical aids come month end, but we will be moving our company medical aid as well. So long Essential Med... Maybe once you loose enough clients somebody will wake up and realize it... Sad
